Pacers SNAP Cavs 12 Game Winning Streak with 6th Straight Victory + Haliburton Exits with Injury
Today, Alex Golden and Mike Facci are back to discuss the Pacers dominant performance in Cleveland!
Your Indiana Pacers continue their excellent play with a 15 point victory over the hottest team in the NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tyrese Haliburton exited after the first half with a hamstring injury, but the rest of the Pacers squad didn’t allow that to slow them down. Led by Andrew Nembhard, Jarace Walker and Pascal Siakam, the Pacers put on a clinic in the 2nd half to extend their winning streak to 6 and they are now winners of 12 of their last 15 games. Facci has more than a PEP in the STEP tonight/today!

Can you do a podcast about what this pacers team looks like without Myles Turner next year if he were to leave the team?
I don't want to hear any Jarace Walker trade speculation anymore, it should be a non-starter if any team calls unless they're offering up an elite player.
PEP IN THE STEP. I am investing in more Walker stock
We can’t trade Walker. We need to see what type of player he can become. Maybe a two way players that can guard multiple positions. Invest in Jarace and give him playing time like we did with Mathurin in his rookie year and 2nd yr before the injury. For this game I think Jarace deserves the player of the game.
Hello Guys!!
Jarace Walker really played well. I'm very hopeful that he could somehow become Kwahi 2.0 or something similar. I wish the pacers would keep him and develop him further to become a future all-star.
Getting more possession is because the team rebounded more and played good DEFENSE. The pacers out rebounded cavaliers a whopping 61 to 47.
This is just my personal opinion but the pacers without Haliburton played and used Siakam better. I still feel Haliburton needs to improve his halfcourt game and play a different style.
Good win for the pacers best game in this current season.
Defense wins. Again.
That's why Pacers are better without Tyrese.
I think in the next following games they need to sit Hali IF he doesn’t feel he has enough bounce to score and be himself on the court, mostly based off of examples of early in the season when he wasn’t looking good and there were convos about him holding the team back in games even though part of it was mental but I think it’s best to sit him and not risk a worse situation, also it could be a way to evaluate how Nembhard, Mathurin, Walker look with more opportunity in this winning stretch while they’ve shown great things on the court recently, a lineup of them together would something I’m more curious on seeing alongside Siakam and Turner, mostly for stat purposes because its been talks about Hali and Mathurin together not looking that well in backcourt, I would like to see how numbers look with Nembhard
Defence win games… key points, POA defense of Nembhard, Sheppard, Mathurin run Cavs off the 3pt line.. Front court defense of Siakam, Walker, Bryant, Toppin, Turner..Happy to see gritty defense.. Development of Walker coming along, hopefully he can become a consistent 6'8" wing player the team need… No matter what opponents do to Siakam, all with a bad whistle he manages to produce, consistent production.. Siakam is a Cavs killer for years, I remember him and OG tag team will shut then down during Raptors tenure.. Keeping hope alive Walker can become the lengthy athletic SF, with Siakam PF.. Nembhard floor management is developing beautifully, team first approach PG are the best… Shout out #43VER🇨🇦 #YesCers
I really enjoyed hearing your backgrounds of your love for Pacers basketball. Same here, extremely passionate and it's always been a go to for me. It's always been my get away with everything else going on in life. Guy's.. This game was kick azz.. lol wow, such a great game by everyone. I hope Tyrese can heal that hamstring and the guy's hold onto this streak.
I've been saying since I first seen Thomas Bryant to give him the keys. Dude is putting up just as good as numbers as Turner with less time. Let Jackson or Wiseman fight for the backup and keep Aron and Obi.
It's becoming clearer and clearer that Walker has a real shot of being the fifth starter next season. That level of defensive activity and three point shooting is close enough to what Nesmith brings but comes with a much needed size upgrade and the addition of his unique passing ability.
Go Pacers! Great win, worried about Hali tho. If you can read this please like the video, maybe comment something for the algo.
love. the insight but lets also give turner some love. Grabbed 10 boards himself and hit timely 3's When he's on we are tough to stop
I didn’t realize Cam Johnson is pretty consistently unhealthy from year to year. I don’t think we can deplete at least some of our depth for a guy that might have some of the same problems Rese has.
We’re cooking right now. Go cers!
I like that we pretty much got Thomas Bryant for nothing, only the right for Miami to ask to swap 2nd round picks, way out in 2031. Would love to see him offered an extension, he fits in perfectly here. As others have mentioned, Jarace Walker is untouchable, he has really shown development and not even near his ceiling yet, no way any other team acquires him in a trade. I am also one that thinks we should not make any trades before the deadline, there's no need to shake up the team chemistry. I hope Tyrese doesn't need to be out for a while, but I also hope they are sure to get him right so that hammy injury doesn't keep re-appearing.
Pascal was pretty great in second half on offense and defense… the steal and score at half court was great
That has a playoff game feel
I's stunned
Let’s goooooo!!!!
I just read an article about Larry Nance Jr, Kelly Oubre and Ingram from the Pelicans. I think Oubre would fit in well at the 3 with the Pacers and wouldn’t disrupt the team and fit in well
🔥🔥💯💯
From the beginning of the game, I have no idea why but I thought we would be the team to break that streak. It may seem idealistic, but I just feel like we’ve always matched up super well with this Cavs team.
this win is giving me lengthy strides in my step today to start the semester! hopefully we can win again on tuesday and show the league that this was not a fluke. a big excuse cavs fans are using is that they couldn’t get their shots to sink, but to be fair, neither could we. excited for the next episode!
I hope this is a sign of things to come
We're starting to look like a great team. I hope it stays consistent the remainder of the season and carry it into the playoffs and get indy our 1st NBA championship!!! GO PACERS!!!
