Too many turnovers and effort on defense wasn't good. Without Jokic the Nuggets are simply not good enough.
When the playoff comes and Porter with 12/5/1 with 38/34/75 shooting splits with atrocious defense than people would ask but why we didnt trade him.

Denver won the second half again 60-59, 80% of games Denver lost the first half. I couldn't watch the torture of one team, no matter how sentimental they are, MPJ will look like this in the playoffs, like in 7 games with Minnesota. Denver doesn't have the size even with Gordon, which was always the advantage of the Nuggets, it's obvious that they have to trade Saric, Zeke, Pickett, even Julian, and if the opportunity arises, MPJ. Denver doesn't need Lavine and similar players, they need two strong, mobile wings like Reath from Portland, a 6 10 complete athlete with a contract of 2.5 million and he doesn't even play in Portland. Even Tory Craig would help the team, especially when it comes to the bench. This team looks very small on the field, the players bounce off the opposing players as if they have no strength. MPJ is desperate in every game against a good opponent, only 8 points and 3 rebounds, in the last 6 games it did not transfer 17 points, and they were all good opponents, starting with Boston.
If the play off starts at this moment, they would play with the Lakers. Maybe Denver wants a safe and quick passage of the first round, that's why they follow the Lakers' progress in the standings. Jamal playing the 4th last game drained him. Had nothing in the tank for Houston because he wanted 50. And as usual Malone obliged. How many shots did MPJ get tonight? Guards chucking as usual. Murray has to drop 40 for them to win that way. I know Jamal doesnt mind playing that way. And Malone will oblige….

It is people not looking for MPJ. Of the shots he took, he did create the play. Could he do that more? Sure, but the truth is that he had wide open opportunities and people did not pass it to him.
What y'all said about Russ I've been preaching that for the last six weeks. He's focus so much on Jokic he's neglected learning his other teammates.
You see the frustration with Porter sometimes because Russ barely finds him. That should be the Russ second option because it's exactly the type of player Russ used to like to play with.

Elbow injuries are often the result of nerve inflammation. Nerve inflammation tends to occur after illness, when immune responses are heightened. I'd hazard a guess the elbow soreness is largely a lingering side effect of being ill over the weekend. Explainer: There's not a lot of important tissues around the elbow to injure (unless you're an MLB pitcher, and to that point the amazing contortions pitchers do to their elbows is proof of how resilient elbows are). But there are a ton of nerves that run along the back of the arm, through the elbow channel, and also through the wrist. And nerve inflammation as a result of viral illness is very common.
