Brooklyn Nets crushed by Clippers. One of the NBA’s worst losses of all-time
The Nets got back into tanking mode in a big way on Wednesday, losing 126-67 to the Los Angeles Clippers. It was the 25th worst loss in an NBA game in the modern age, a testament to just how bad they were in this one. No one in the starting lineup scored in double digits and they just looked flat-out terrible.

Been a Nets fan since the 70s. After watching this team tank. I wont watch them again. It sickens me what Sean Marks and Ownership has done to destroy the Nets. Fake Injuries. Resting players for Injury Management. Its disgusting.There is nothing wrong with Cam Thomas,Cam Johnson, Deangelo Russell, Trendon Watford.. There is nothing still wrong with Bogdanovic. They want to lose and they still want people to care..This is a pure Garbage Organization.
The dangers of tanking are that the players and coaches become demoralized and the team becomes a laughing stock across the league. I think this will make it less likely for goid players to want to come here

You guys are crazy for supporting a tank. The Nets have the track record where they'll screw up a hi pick most likely. Even if they get lucky, they also won't "turn it around" real soon. IMO you should be just trashing ownership, the front office and boycotting

This whole tanking mentality I’ve been saying for months you could look back on other post, is a losing mentality for losers.
It can destroy your organization for a decades or more. Detroit had to learn that the hard way.
What happens if the guy you’re trying to draft becomes injury prone in the NBA and winds up being a bust in some way shape or form you played yourself.
Jordi could be one of the best coaches in the league he still has more than half a season of these types of losses to go through. That’s the demoralizing for any person.
I think the blazers line up was to help showcase CJ on an easier night etc coming back from injury ahead of trade deadline. The only logical thing I can think of. Either way all good we’re tanking along….
Just like I commented yesterday…It makes absolutely no sense to play Cam J…D-Lo and Simmons anymore. All 3 will NOT be on the team next year. Why let then wreck our chances at getting a young,talented high end STUD like Flagg or Harper! You flat out tell Cam J that he's going to be traded and can't risk an injury. You flat out tell Simmons that they want to look at some other younger players and if he so desires…can workout a buyout. Finally wit D-LO you tell him that you will try to trade him to a contender and if not workout a buyout with him…Without those 3 players moving forward. The NETS will assure themselves of being the WORST team in the NBA over the last half of the season. MARKS needs to make this happen and NOW!

People are paying good money to watch the best of your players perform to the best of their ability. I am all for getting generational talent but not this way. Just Play The Starters Less Minutes.

What if the Nets 2nd and 3rd unit players beat the Blazers and then the rested Nets starters beat the Clippers?
Now you’re in a position where you’ve won 2 games in a taking season vs the 1-1 as ugly as it was.
Plus it was probably a better to ease the Nets players like Cam Johnson and D’Lo back on to the court vs a team like the Blazers vs Clippers who are actively competing for a spot in the Playoffs.
we saw 2 of these blowouts in Portland last season. Long road trip, shorthanded lineup, opponent catches fire. It does happen with a rebuilding squad. Not the end of the world. Rest, reset, shake it off Brooklyn

I’m just not sure what Mark has to see to understand that when Johnson, and Delo play this team can beat the lower level teams of the league and when they don’t play, the team is terrible so you either have to bench them or trade them. If you don’t want to trade Cam Johnson because you think he’s a good dude fine but then you come up with a reason why he shouldn’t be playing same thing with Cam Thomas. He shouldn’t see the floor again.

You guys are way too stuck on trying to tank. Just let the season play out. New Orleans is getting healthy and playing better. Toronto is going to be better. Nets will probably be bottom 5. As we all know, you can get a star with a top 5 pick. They won't get to number 1 but that's no guarantee anyway.
