Can you imagine even with the leagues financial rules, someone like the great Jerry Buss owning a team and not making moves with players like LeBron, AD, Curry, or Green? Owners let GMs ruin the teams chances by managing the money too death with cuts here, and avoiding moves that might make them pay more. Todays owners aren't about winning titles. They're about making as much money off the backs of others as possible. The Warriors like my Lakers, need new owners. These are storied franchises, now they're average play-in team at best, and they have some of the games better players. Shame they dont find ways too win today and worry about the future, when the future comes. You got no guarantee you'll even have one great player later, but you got em now.

Curry should have been traded last year, they could have got a whole new team just for him. And he would have been happy winning somewhere else, now they are just wasting both potentials.

Thats the problem with fans and sports media today. Could you imagine if anyone called out the Lakers for wasting Kobe Bryant and he should be traded elsewhere towards the end of his career? Where was that back in the mid 2010s? Kobe needs to be traded, blah blah blah. Yeah, exactly. It wasnt there. Thats what made Kobe, Tim Duncan, and Dirk special.. they never had to hop teams, won their titles and retired under one jersey. The Warriors need to look at what they have and start trimming all the glaring holes they have – and its not a big man like many Warriors fans think is the issue. The problem the Warriors have now is coaching and not having a strong enough consistent bench like they had in years past (ironically the same issue the Suns and KD are having this year also).

I became a basketball fan because of Steph, which led me to become a warriors fan. As loyal as we all know steph is, there’s never been a time where it felt like there could be a possibility of him actually leaving till now.
