It is a poorly coached team that can not make adjustments
Idk how you guys continue to always somehow aim 90% of your criticism to Brown every game. Tatum was not even very good tonight either 5/15 AND HE REPEATEDLY PASSED TO THE 3 OVER TAKING SLIGHTLY CONTESTED LAYUPS even though our shots were NOT falling. This WHOLE TEAM is not good rn, Brown consistently getting the longest rants is just so weird. Anyways Jrue should be ball handling and be the PG more. Brown needs to learn how to cut and get to dunkers spot and play like Aaron Gordon more. Tatum should learn AG skills when off ball too. Tatum,Jrue, and White need to learn how to actually playmake better. The drive and kick and swing pass is all they have currently. Even Tatum just has the behind the back bs. Nobody passes INSIDE they just pass to 3 and they don't even do that cleanly. Look at the Thunder game and you see that the reason they clamped in the 2nd half was they just predicted sloppy passes. Joe needs to have the team practice plays, get more cuts, slashes off screens, and get LOBS going. So many good teams have lobs as a weapon, we don't do it at all. Brown and Tatum should add cutting and catching lobs to their arsenal. White and Jrue should add passing ahead to JB/JT/KP cutting and lobbing to them to their game. I just think our Offense is really 1 dimensional and easy to predict rn. Defense we just need to do man to man and really let the individual matchups happen how they happen. Defense has been a problem all season but shooting covered it up early on.

Jaylen looks like he not only isn't invested. He looks actively upset when people like Pritchard are doing well.
Another question I believe Jaylen Brown led the league in the first quarter points last Here, I thought he played the whole first quarter last year and I’m not sure why Joe decided to change the minutes but I wonder if that has anything to do with Jaylin’s performances lately. I don’t know what’s wrong with him to be honest I feel like a shot selection might have something to do with it, though.
Especially against a team like the Raptors I would like to see Joe got a little deeper into the bitch, especially when the starters are playing with no Focus or physicality. Sorry I know that’s not why we lost the game, but we clearly Could use another guy once in a while.

I have been saying for months that the effort and defense has been an issue. But everyone kept telling me that it was nothing, just post championship malaise. Well, the regular season is when you build your habits and figure it out what works. Once the postseason comes you take to another level. You don’t wait until the postseason to turn it on and start playing with effort. Alas the Nuggets last season. People keep comparing this season’s numbers to last year’s. It’s not about the stats, it’s about the effort, energy and product on the floor. This season is a new season. We are now the hunted, things have changed, you have to adjust accordingly and play like you give a shit. The players are still getting paid for these games, we are watching and people are paying good money to attend these games, plus all the money they spend with food, drinks and merch. Look at all the home games we have lost! Many of which it has been to really bad teams
Raptors had this date circled, after losing by 50pt with 7 of their players out at the TD Garden. They were healthier, extra motivated and prepared for war. The same thing happened in preseason where Celtics won the first game and Raptors responded by winning the second.
