Have some pride, that was not a game winning block. It was a goaltend, one of the worst calls of the season
I say go for it. The 10 seed is typically a .500 team or slightly below. With half the season left, we have time if the team stays healthy. I even want to see BI play with this version of a healthy roster. That Celtics game was very interesting in terms of matchups. I’d like to see the small-ball lineup of Zion, BI, Murphy, McCollum, and Murray for a few games before any decisions are made. Sets with Zion playing the 5 and running point would be fascinating to watch with that group. What 5 or wing is guarding Zion in that set, and who are they helping off of? 🤔
Thinking about how teams would have to guard that set is why I’m optimistic we could go 34-6 or even 30-10 in the second half of the season. Hell, the Cavs and OKC have fewer losses than that, and the Rockets and Celtics are close to it. We’d definitely flirt with that number. I can see us making the play-in, winning, and having a rematch with OKC in the first round of the playoffs. I like Zion’s chances against Chet, Lou Dort, or whoever they’d put on him. 🤯🤯🤯

I don't feel bad about the missed goaltending. On the in bounds prior to that, Hawk was held by Naji, which contributed to the turnover. It is a wash as far as I'm concerned.

Imagine crying about ONE missed call in a game with 200+ possessions combined. Basketball is not a ‘perfect call simulator’; it’s a game of skill, adjustments, and yes—mistakes. If your team needs 1 single call to avoid losing, maybe they didn’t deserve it.
Im happy they are competitive and watchable again. Play to win. Improving the trade value of tradeable assets is as important as bettering draft pick positioning odds.
