Cap 🎩. He doesn't really want to play D, he just likes the idea. But to be fair, defense has been legislated out of the game, and very few people want to play defense. The NBA changed the rules to diminish defense and any semblance of physicality/toughness and gave the advantage to offense. No one talks about it, but it was done so foreign players could have greater success in the NBA.

He cant guard them because he always injured and no coach will put their best player on the opponents best player coming off an injury. You missed half the season so far you say you not playing 2nd half of back to backs meaning you not fully healthy so why would a coach have you guard Mitchell or Lillard
