As a Heat fan I no longer believe in Pat Riley. I think he played a major role in allowing this situation to get worse. Especially manipulating the fan base to turn on butler. Trade may have happened if he didn’t open his mouth after the agent said there was nothing going on and called shams a liar. In reality he pissed butler off and he let it be known he wants out. Which in turn hurt any leverage Miami had in the trade value of butler. No big time free agent especially an established veteran will want to come here
