How to say you don't watch the Thunder without saying you don't watch the Thunder. Shai is dope, but when Chet is healthy Shai isnt even top 5 on the team in defense. Respect on Dort, Casons, Alex and Dubs name, geez

What's crazy is we ain't even full strength and haven't been all yr just wait till Chet gets back that D is gonna be historic and we just arrived too we ain't going nowhere unless Presti screws it up again but I think he learned from his past mistakes and with our draft capital just waiting to be used when we really need it last yr I didn't think we would win a ship but I'm all in on finally bringing that Ship to the City baby Thunder up

Love SGA but he aint the best defender in the team, thats Dort and right now JDub is next. SGA has more steals by a small margin but those 2 guard the best players on the opposite team.

Bro stop it. You’re embarrassing yourself. Shai is the 6th worst defender on OKC, and 7th isn’t a slam dunk with Wallace, Wiggins, and Joe right there. Holmgren will be a DPOY candidate for the next decade. Jalen Williams truly guards 1 through 5, Dort is the guy the Thunder actually use to cover the other teams best wing, Hartenstein is an all NBA defending level big man, and Alex Caruso is already a multiple all NBA defender. Despite Shai being an amazing and possible all NBA defender, calling him the Thunder’s best defensive player is the most egregious thing you’ve ever said. Shai is a top 10 to 20 defender but he’s the 6th best on OKC and that’s why their defense is great. Here’s my rankings

3- Caruso
4- Williams
5- Hartenstein

T6- Wiggins

This is the reason Lu Dort has never made an all defensive team. In my opinion he should be in the running for DPOY every year.
SGA would be the first tell you he has nowhere near the impact defensively as some of his teammates, and the Kawhi Leonard, LeBron, and Tim Duncan’s of the world.
