Painful choke. Celtics played poorly and got what they deserved. If Tatum made his free throw they would’ve just scraped by. Heart crushing loss.
Our 2 best players not being great free throw shooters is a problem I feel doesn’t get talked about enough
If Jrue did anything else but pass the ball in the last 30 seconds, I'm sure the Cs win the game. And then he goes and fouls Trae Young to give him free throws.. arrrgh !
But hey, hopefully Jrue and the rest learn from this and regain composure, mental strength, and focus in future tight games.
And Jrue has done some great things for us , in particular the playoff series with the Pacers last season.
It's time for reflection and wisdom. Hope Joe pencils in some meditation and therapy sessions for the team. I sure need some!
