Dallas, in my opinion, is still the second-best team in the West and personally my favourites to make it to the finals over OKC (due to the feeling the have got a number over OKC). Dallas has one of the deepest rosters in the league, a top 3 player in the world (no matter where you put him) the best 2nd option in the league, two rock solid centers, a lot of three-point shooting, ball handling, playmaking, and defense (Washington, Grimes, Marshall, Exum, Kleber, Gafford and Lively are all excellent, Dinwiddie, Kyrie and (the way he's been playing this year) Klay are all good too and Doncic is passable when he tries (very good in passing lanes and deflections, decent on ball unless against very explosive guards, good off-ball when focused). Their best 5-man lineup (granted on only 148 minutes due to injuries) of Luka, Kyrie, Klay, Washington, and Lively has the best net rating in the league and I think they have no team to fear but Boston, OKC, and maybe the Cavs and Nuggets (only bc of Joker). Once their injury woes are over, do not be surprised to see them enter the top 4 after a crazy winning streak and enter the playoffs as the hottest team out there.
I think mavs prove when they are fully healthy they give Oklahoma City thunder the biggest challenge them and the Denver nuggets because they have jokic but if the mavs can sustain thit pace until Luka doncic comes back and Derrick lively and others the mavs are going to be dangerous the second half of the season.🏀💯

Dallas is not any better than they were a year ago. OKC is better. Houston may not be ready today but they could level up by trade before the deadline. The West is going to be a bloodbath. Dallas is still Luka & friends with some good supporting pieces

PJ looks good this year. We know Luka and Kyrie will give any team problems. But I think PJ made a modest jump this year and will be a problem as the 3rd option.
