Kings, Pacers FAVORITES To Trade For Cam Johnson

Marc Stein of The Stein Line reports that Cam Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets is one of the top targets in the NBA trade market as the February 6 trade deadline approaches. While the Nets insist they’re not in a rush to trade Johnson, the Indiana Pacers and Sacramento Kings have emerged as leading suitors.

The Kings could offer a package centered around Kevin Huerter, Trey Lyles, and a future first-round pick, making them a strong contender. Meanwhile, the Pacers remain a team to watch in the Johnson sweepstakes, with the Cleveland Cavaliers also showing preliminary interest.

Tune in for the latest updates on Cam Johnson’s potential trade destinations and what these moves mean for the teams involved.

  1. Keegan for cam is not happening. You don’t trade your only 3 and D young wing for an older version of said player. The kings need depth on the wing not a swap. Much prefer a John Collins or Patrick Williams trade involving draft capital.

  2. Walker should be nearly untouchable as far as I’m concerned. He has been improving rapidly lately and may have more potential than Mathurin long term. Cam makes no sense financially for Indiana, either. Walker could be as good as Cam in another year or two and is on a little rookie contract. Adding Cam would mean Indiana won’t be able to pay key players that will want extensions and raises in upcoming seasons. Indiana also already has a max contract guy at PF, arguably their best player considering Pascal is more consistent than Haliburton.

  3. I dont think Patrick Williams is tradeable at all. A virtually worthless player at a terrible contract
