Brooklyn Nets lose big to Thunder, struggle to score once again

The team shot poorly from three and couldn’t get anything going early. The Locked On Nets talk about the game, and the possibility of a trade between these Thunder and the Nets for Cam Johnson before the trade deadline.

  1. Weird to not mention Dieng's play in the actual Nets game, it was one of his best ever in a Thunder jersey. He went 2/4 from 3, had a highlight dunk, a block, and actually played like a big with force. Dieng's biggest problems are indecision at the NBA level and not playing like a big with force. The one bad play in the Nets game was when he looked off an easy dunk under the basket. I think his game would be better on the Nets. He overthinks his situation with the Thunder, which leads to bad passes and not taking shots he should. He crushes the G-League, 20.4 pts on 37.5% from deep, 6.6 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks. I think the pressure of playing on a contender gets to him.

  2. There's been rumors about Detroit being buyers. Do you guys think a FRP + Ron Holland would be something the Nets want or Detroit would be willing to give up?

  3. If there was any game I wish Ben played was last night. He would've gotten better looks for CJ than Dlo did. I still think if there was ever a trade between the 2 teams Isaiah Joe would be the salary used not Aaron Wiggins, tho last night I don't see a trade happening, CJ is more likely to be a King than a Thunder.

  4. Hey, ya’ll. OKC fan here. There was a time where I thought OKC needed CJ, but to me, I think Nets would respectfully want and ask for way more than I would want to see leave OKC. I bet the Nets would be better off with a trade partner that is desperate or simply thinks they are “Cam Johnson away” from title contention. Maybe Kings? Maybe Pacers?
