I'm a 4th year Miami Heat season ticket member. The Heat Culture that Pat Riley cultivated is real. It really helps lesser talented players overachieve and provides an excellent standard for sustainable organizational success
However, the 3 championships should be more attributed to Dwayne Wade and his talent & influence to attract Lebron and Chris Bosh than Pat Riley. Wade even recruited Jimmy to sign with the Heat.
Explains why none of these players ever got a ring!

Pat, DWade, Shaq, LeBron all have rings to show for it with Jimmy getting close twice. Miami is not for everyone, never is supposed to be. It’s only for the ones who are willing to put the work in. If you notice we get undrafted players looking like godsends and sent to other organizations to be terrible. It’s not coincidence it’s the culture set.
