I've heard from other sources there are Stepien rule implications of this trade. They are saying that by getting picks in 25, 27 and 29, it opens up their ability to trade picks in 26, 28 and 30. Is there any truth to this? Its the only way this makes sense from the Suns perspective because the unprotected 31 pick is worth more in any potential future trade.
