I don't care if Jok. plays in a wheel chair; they cannot block his shot or he might just change it up to get the ball in the basket. N.J. is 7'-2 and has long arms as well. He doesn't need to jump that often. What is the definition of athleticism anyway? No one seems to mention the great "sky hook" of Jabbar and how it was unblockable and considered one of the all time great shots.
It would be great to see Russ win a chip. Especially since the Nuggets were bad, then they gave Russ more minutes and made him a starter, then they got good.
It still all depends on Jamal Murray. He let his ego go a bit and focused on playing, he needs to just keep playing and stop trying to fight with fans and the media.
I will FULLY admit that I did not believe in the Russ fit. I'm a huge Nuggets fan and I just thought that the ball being in Westbrooks hands was just a worse place for it to be that in Jokics. To my small amount of credit, the early season did NOT look good. It looked sloppy and uncoordinated, like he was trying to do way too much with the ball, but it has really come together and I'm very excited for the future of this team. I was wrong and Russ really has come into his own and found what his role is in the team and it looks great.
edit: Oh and Aaron Gordon is the key to us getting back to a championship, period. This guy does SO much for us on both sides of the floor. I can't tell you how excited I was to get him back.
3:26 What even are the refs looking at ? They don't spot obvious travels. I don't know how this still happens in 2024-2025…
Apart from me whining about refs, you're absolutely right. The Nuggets are a great team to watch, they also don't abuse the 3pt shot and have probably the most respectable NBA superstar in a long time.
As an Englishman i'm not too invested in any one single team in the nba, but i would be so fucking happy to see Russ get a chip with the Nuggets. What a story it would be.
there is no I in Team but there is legitimacy in team bbal they look amazing and everyone is showing up to play hard led by Joekr and Brodie best duo in NBA atm great vid my man thank u
Westbrook shines with that team. Love it. I betted before the season started that he will win 6th man of the year. The odds where 2500 to 1. Russel, beat the odds!

I never should've doubted Jokic's choice of Westbrook.

Murray is the key. We know jokic is gonna be all world but when jamal is efficient, it makes the nuggets as good as anybody.

Jokic is sooooo good bro
Yeah they are playing great, but OKC will smoke any team in the west in a playoff series.

Anyone who thought Westbrook wouldn't fit on this team clearly didn't watch Bruce Brown during the title run
Crucially,very easy.
This russell Westbrook guy seems good, never heard of him but seems like he has a promising future
I love that Aaron Gordon comment 😏👌🏼
It’s more like Russ making everyone remember

This is what an "ego free" basketball looks like.

This is the 13th video on the nuggets I’ve seen this week. Not saying it’s bad, just seems like everyone is finally starting to notice.
Again with the Nuggets. What are you the public relations man for this team? 👉6Man 🥴
