How to play in the NBA when you’re under 6 feet🔒 (5’8 Yuki Kawamura) #shorts

Part 1 – Defense. 👇

5’8” guard Yuki Kawamura is fighting for a spot on an NBA roster this year & it’s something we can all learn from:

1. He’s almost impossible to screen and is adept at manoeuvring screens while applying pressure on the ball (& on possible shooters off of it).

2. He’s picking up full court, disrupting offences and ball-handlers with active hands.

3. He hustles and is super physical, making his presence known by hard bumps, tags, and hustle plays all over the court.

You can’t control your height, but you can control your attitude, effort and mind. 🧠

We wish the former Japanese B League MVP 🇯🇵 all the best in his quest for a spot in the League.

  4. Lol that's just playing defense. Nothing special except he's a rare breed for today's day and age who actually does it. This is proof it was more difficult to play back in the day when most everyone played defense

  5. Yuuki's basketball shoes, ASICS, are a sporting goods brand operated by Onitsuka Tiger.Designed to fit Japanese feet well.Everyone, please try them on.

  6. Although size and height matters in basketball, even short players can find a role, excel in it and influence the game
