Cleveland Cavaliers Head Coach Kenny Atkinson spoke with the media following a 119-118 loss to the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center on January 22, 2025.
Once again, the blame for this Cavaliers loss is on Artwithme! I explicitly told him to not call or text me while I’m in my classes, studying, taking a shower or running my Cleveland music playlist once the Spring 2025 semester began! And yet, he still chose to text me while I was in TECH 391 on Blackboard Collaborate, 23 minutes after class began!
You know what?! That does it! All bets are off between me and him! I’ll be calling it quits real soon if the Cavaliers don’t regroup and win their next game, for real!
Coach has to do a MUCH better job calling plays to close the 4th. Too much iso. Run a play. Get a better shot than letting guys shoot step back 3's in a tied game… Refs tried their best to give us a shot. Going forward, take a timeout, run a play…
Thay totally was bad today missing those free throws was garlands fault I hope he wasn’t betting on the game and missed those shots on purpose hopefully thay play better in there next game because this was a total waste
I'm really starting to wonder what's going on with Sam Merrill. He's supposed to be the best shooter on the team, he's shooting a disappointing 33.9% from 3. Tonight 1-6 for 16%. He's missing wide open shots. He had a chance tonight to put the Cavs up 6 with 3 min to go in 4th, wide open, missed, not even close… What do y'all think?
Cleveland media only shows interviews with DG after wins. Where is he at? Are they hiding him? Where's his interview? Man up, do post game media ON CAM after losses… Is he an All Star or not? All Stars do postgame media win or lose ON CAM…

Bad execution in the last two minutes. DG held the ball too long and got trapped, bad shot. Next possession, Spida TO and foul.
That no call on Sengun was some bullshit. And he was giving Allen the elbow all game, which should have been an offensive foul
