You're wrong for thinking Embiid deserved MVP, btw. If you want to read something a little long-winded, heres my write up on why.
the MVP tracker has correctly marked the eventual MVP for the last 2 decades with near perfect accuracy with only 2 misses. One was Rose over Bron in 2011, which to me makes sense and was a complete outlier in league history with bron having ran to 2 all-stars in his absolute prime AND not getting the one seed. This was the first time in NBA history something like this happened, they weren't gonna give him the MVP, and especially without the 1 seed. The ONLY OTHER MISS was Embiid over Jokic in 23 – THATS IT. So, Jokic already has the only "true" stolen/voter fatigue MVP stolen over the last 2 decades. People always say "bron should have won like 8 straight" or some other nonsense, but its simply not true. People really don't like to hear it, but bron never had this gap over the other MVP candidates, and doubly so because he was well known for coasting in the regular season. Every MVP he "lost" was given to the correct person as per impact metrics.
In summary, Jokic has the only stolen MVP in the last 20 years, and very well may have ANOTHER rightful MVP stolen, as the MVP tracker has him handily in the lead rn. The only other true stolen MVP was Karl Malone over MJ.

The hardest disagree on Embiid getting that MVP over Jokić.
Embiid's a floppin' ass softie. He campaigned for his own MVP and I firmly believe he wouldn't have won it, had it not been for Kendrick Perkins' racist ass.

Love Jokic but yeah I can agree he takes many plays off on defense. I guess offense is way more rewarded in the league. He might be trying to avoid foul trouble but idk.

The way Aaron Gordon is playing as a facilitator is how he was playing in one game in last year's playoff against the timberwolves and they won. I have no idea why they stopped that action in later games. They could have beaten the wolves imo. AG is the answer when jokic goes to the bench, he is an underrated ball handler and play maker but i guess malone just brain farted in that series.
Someone needs to get this guy a nuggets jersey already…
Embiid a ft merchant who plays 50 games a year and disappears in the playoffs. He got a participation mvp after Perkins cried racism and basically retired after earning his individual award.
I also feel the Nuggets are going to the finals this year. They’re really gelling and Jokic is having his best season yet. Shai can have the MVP, last time Jokic didn’t get an MVP he won a chip
For Jokic I think It's a few things which causes his Defense to be bad. 1 just lazy, 2 doesn't wanna be in foul trouble, 3 bad positioning or help, 4 his illness is still bugging him.
Denver has an intense visceral loathing for Embiid. I understand the criticisms, but don't understand why they can't acknowledge that Embiid, when healthy, is a force to be reckoned with. We don't like he way he gets his points and don't like his style of play. We're a bit spoiled.

5:00, all the inconsistencies of referee on this play. Jokic being held and Braun being hugged, no foul. But for example when you want a FT at the end of the game, just a little touch on the player and they give the foul, just because it's obvious he wanted the foul. That's makes no sense.
On the rebounds to be fair, Denver shot 61.2% from 2, 51.6% from 3 and 96% from the FT line, there weren't a lot of rebounds to take on defense, only 49 lol.

The league did give away the mvp to embid but if you remember that’s also the year Denver got a chip. I wonder, they gonna give it away again and they go get another chip on a non mvp year?
