I was scratching my head at first, but it’s probably because we won’t have enough room for all of the young talent we’re drafting. The picks we gave up are likely going to be near the bottom (since it’s the worst pick of 3 in each case).
The fact that the Suns pick is unprotected is really nice. It’s a more valuable pick that might be the key to making a big trade in the future, or we could just use it ourselves. But idk! I’m just a random fan, what do I know?
This is a great deal for both teams. PHX gets assets to trade for Butler while the Jazz consolidate multiple late 1st rounders for a chance at a top pick in the future. Imagine how salty the league will be when a 50+ win Jazz team picks in the top 3 in ‘31…
That unprotected Phoenix FRP could be a great trade asset or turn into a very valuable selection. I think it was a good move. Otherwise, I don't know how the Jazz could integrate and develop so many young players over the next few seasons.
Jazz 1000% won this trade. The Suns are not going to have KD in 2031, they have no good picks to rebuild on until then and honestly if I was Booker I would get out of there as well if you want a ring. That 2031 pick is as good as gold in my eyes.
They have scouted someone special whos still in school rn. Perhaps a player that will be more hyped than Lebron, wiggins, lonzo, zion and wemby combined!

Here’s to hoping the Suns are terrible in 6 years
This means a big chunk of trading Gobert & Mitchell away in 2022 ultimately became a single 2031 first-round pick – NINE YEARS LATE. Once again, UGH!

Tbh. Kyle Flip is the best late draft pick we’re going to have. Cant do much better. So why not give up the rest?

whos Phoenix gonna have other than booker in 6 years?
Just simply too many mouths to feed with that many picks. Get one of the most valuable picks in the NBA for basically 3 Cavs first rounders.
I would never doubt Ainge. He wins every trade.

Phoenix better not be shit in 2031 lol
