  1. Mavs would be right up there with OKC if not the 1st seed if they didn't have this many injuries, they were catching up with OKC 2 games apart when Luka went down + 3-1 season series win over OKC.

  2. And Shai for MVP of what? Dude can't beat hospital Mavs… If they give it to him it will be like Embiids MVP.

  3. Mavericks of 2025 are a nice surprise, as they become less and less reliant on the heroics of Luka or Kyrie, and become more and more spread out. Seems like everyone can score and offense, and contribute on defense

    I would even dare to say, not having Luka is good for them in general, as this teams become "win by committee". Even when they lose (like vs the Nuggets) they put out a decent outing compared to previous years where they don't have Luka on court
