bro i went to the last grizzlies game on Friday and when i tell you everyone was screaming at mitch to call a fucking timeout in the third quarter when they were hitting 3 after 3 after 3 everyone was pissed off horrible coaching need greg back ASAP and Mamu needs to play more, we need his size on defense and hes just a boost to our offense every time he plays!!!
I know Bret Brown would've had us competing unlike Mitch. The guys under qualified to be a head coach. Whoever in the front office made that decision. Should be let go. I'm tired of Mitch just sitting there like a bump on a log. He should be up and yelling at the team to commit to defensive schemes. Yet he's on the chair just doing absolutely nothing.
OKC got the jump on us so of course we will be behind. They got SGA thrown in their lap when they moved Russ and PG. They hit on two picks with Jalen WIlliams and Chet and got a few good roleplayers. That and they are further along in their rebuild than us.
Hindsite: We probably should have taken Sengun or Trey Murphy III in 2021, Josh Primo is a horrible miss, I didnt see Jalen Williams turning out so good so Sochan pick ok in 2022. We really gotta hit on every pick this next draft. And we need to get a prime time youngish number 2 before the big contracts come off books to make big trades work. But who is or will be available soon? I would like to get Lamelo or Haliburton but don't see them on block as of yet.
Nah, they're tanking alright. That 3 loss is payment on the management for 2 win on france. We'll see real Spurs basketball there because they aren't gonna let wemby down on his home. If they lose a blowout game there, I'll admit they just suck and this isn't a tank but a real cry for help.
I hope they tank for 15 more years so that they can get a full quality roster.Maybe add 5 more years so that Brian Wright can work stressless.Future is bright.
Of course I want growth for the team and individual players, but it would not be the worst thing in the world to tank again, if we land in the top five this year, we will have a legitimate number two to Victor. If we get lucky and get Cooper, we might have the best duo in the league.
if we get Ace Bailey or Tre Johnson as a pick I don't care if we lose now to win later. We still need a legit second scorer someone who can get a bucket by himself, those two would fit great in the timeline.
Wembanyama is 7'4 and yet he's jacking up 3 pt attempts each game. He's taking almost 10 a game. Considering he's now got a Chris Paul, he should be getting easy points in the paint. Should play a lot smarter
