LOS ANGELES — The Los Angeles Lakers rolled to a 117-96 victory over the Boston Celtics on Thursday night.

“The transition defense, the offensive rebounds, those things, just didn’t do them well.”

  1. your rotations are fkn trash this guy is seriously losing me, he might be the only coach in the league who lets other players control the offence more than his best player it’s ridiculous

  2. 1. Tatum’s usage was 26%. We are 30-0 when it’s about 35%. Him only getting 12 FGA is unacceptable

    2. Mazulla is catering to JB given his many recent post game pressers where he was complaining and frustrated.

    3. Rotations and lineups are messed up, players looking off Tatum, Tatum is sent to the corner for half the game.

    Mazulla Ball

  3. KP is the only one tonight that showed up, he dropped 22pts, he is also the most consistent scorer in the team. Every night, i see him giving his best irregardless of who we played, and can produce a good 20pts from the team, play his role well, block shot, rebounding, rim protection. The rest of the team, where are you, this is not a 1 vs 5 game, is a 5 vs 5 basketball game.

JT, learn to pass the damn ball and not play iso ball and settle for contested 3s, drive in and take midrange, draw fouls and etc. Effort from the team tonight was atrocious, 3rd quarter 8 mins left we narrowed the their lead to 12, 62-74 score. Then after that, keep shooting 3s and bricking them, JB misses BOTH free throws, become scoreless. JT gave the team momentum and the rest decides to destroy it.

This is a team game, everyone needs to give their best effort, win or lose is ok. I am ok with this team losing but not by 20 plus pts, maybe single digits loss is still acceptable given their game last night and sleep deprivation.

  4. Fire Mazzula! Olympic bench JT and JB. Take away their all star privileges – make them learn how to shoot 100% Free throws

  5. I've seen enough!!
A team packed with all-stars and consistently getting blown out and consistently trailing by double digits and consistently losing every other game.
Where is my Celtics team that used to be the team blowing out other teams??
Now our Billion dollar starters are in heated dogfights with g league teams!!
They were very lucky to win the Clippers and Pelicans games.
They choked in the Hawks and Thunder games.
Maybe they're saving the effort for the playoffs but it's getting embarrassing.
Another game where we failed to score 100 points.

  6. I hope these guys aren't very fond of each other because they are going to get someone traded or fired the way they are playing. Don't cry later.

  7. Joe needs to have all these guys on the board to attack the rim and work their butt off to protect the rim. Cant only depend on 3 points, everybody gotta help each other out in attacking the rim. 💪

  8. In our defense we been playing playoff ball for years this past Olympic run I feel like things are going to cliq down the line but they need to play ball cut screen rebound move mfs just watch each other

  9. JB is an average player being portraited as a star, dribbled, dribbled and the offense flow stopped. Brown took 19 shots to get 17 points, another game with almost team worst -18, by the way, he couldn't guard quicker or skilled player. Tatum is just an unreliable shooter.

  10. Has Joe Mazzula gone soft and gotten too emotionally attached to the players?
I think he is too busy being the player's "friend" to be a good coach.
The players need to be called out when they play like ass!!
There needs to be repercussions for awful play.
They need to be coached hard!!
    Stop making excuses for losses:
    1. Too many back to backs
    2. no consistency
    3. Injuries
    4. Just got all our starters back but it takes time to build chemistry
    5. Played with no urgency
    6. Gotta match the opposing teams physicality
The Hawks beat us without Trae Young
The Magic were rolling without Banchero and Franz Wagner ( they seem to be losing since they're both back)
