The CBA is doing exactly what it was designed to do. It makes it where upcoming free agents are still trapped by a particular team because other teams aren’t allowed to have them at a competitive rate. With a greater punishment for going over the CAP. Which when the MAX was imposed it was done with David Stern saying that it wasn’t a CAP but instead a luxury threshold. SMH
I think it's less likely Jimmy going to Memphis than staying put. To Grizzlies, Jimmy's not even on their top 10 priority list, they have a lot of flexibility to change their roster, they don't have to be fixated on Jimmy like Suns do.
