….. and THIS is why i keep laughing at anybody wanting the Mavs to swap out their future for their present…. just because we haven't needed "the kids" before, all these injuries and illnesses have gotten them into the line-up and they have all shone in the spotlight…. Then there are the idiots who wanted to dump Maxi!! … you know, our #2 center now??? … he's still too expensive but as he continues to heal, he is getting back to where he was…… and like Ky said, "We could make a starting line-up out of who's not here"…..at this point that would include three starters, Naji and Jaden…… not to mention the silly notion of dumping JKidd!! He has shined, coaching this inexperienced team to unlikely if not erratic victories even when he has no team!! And again, the biggest problem in Dallas are the injuries and illnesses….. but there is no sense in trying to "fix it" with some wild trade ideas……. so once i again i say, STAY THE COURSE!!!

Omax had his best game of the season. Wasn't a great one or nothing. I'm quite shocked he hasn't had at least a few of these already. But he has been trending into Playable territory more lately. Though injuries has been most of the reason.
But believe me. I was very glad to see last nights game. If he did that every game I would be very happy camper indeed.
I'm not basing anything beside the Hope of crossing ones fingers that this one game is the future Now.
We never needed a trade.. we just needed the guys we have to step into those roles. Of course, a trade at the right price would be great but the teams chemistry is good rn even with injures. OMax is still young with a high ceiling when giving the opportunity can be special piece. Just needs the minutes
I agreeO Max is doing such a great job. We have so much hidden talent that needs to be explored. Before thinking about doing more trades and as I stated before, it’s not how we started that’s how we finish. Go Mavs.😊
As active as Nico has been over the years with trading, that doesn't mean that he Has to get a trade going. Not to mention, there's a lot of value with having a team develop together. Not just plug-n-play tactics. That guarantees nothing, and can cost you invaluable players and/or draft picks. He's already made some great moves. Now they need to have them build chemistry and better gameplay capabilities. Omax is a great example. As he plays more, he learns how to make adjustments and enhance court vision. Not just by watching tape and practice runs. Same goes for the other youngsters. Kleber…should at least switch to 3rd forward in the rotation. Have Omax start ahead of him.

Look closely at PJ. He’s found a nice drive move that’s getting him and his team easy points. I like it, and Omax. O is not overdoing it offensively and hitting his threes nicely. It seems like he has some pretty decent offense and I like it.

I totally agree, but if he never gets the minute, we will never know just how good he can be. His potential is in only one person's hand, and his name is Coach Kidd. Kidd will pull the young guy in a heartbeat like you said SMDH, and they will never learn how to play the game right way if he doesn't let them play through the mistakes. Those mistakes are there to teach them what to do and when to do it. The mistakes are the greatest teacher of all, and developing Omax and Hardy saves you money and picks.

Omax has been one of my favorites on this team since I first saw him play. I just love his offensive skill set and play style. I never expected him to come as far as he has given his overall consistency. Hopefully he stays away from injury and continues to develop.
Just having a 6-8 athlete who actually plays hard is needed

Last night was the first time OMax didn't look like he was panicking when he had the ball. Attacking time and time again, making good decisions and — especially — moving in sync with the game and not in 1.5x speed. That was the most promising factor to me.

I mean, if you aren’t aware of Marquette hoops maybe you’re surprised, but they consistently put good players in the league and he’s athletic and long and he plays hard. I had high hopes after we traded and drafted for him. I think he’s gonna be a stud. He kinda gives me like an athletic

I’m just sayingthis team gets healthy nobody and I put that on everything no team in the league is gonna wanna see them in the playoffs with how much run these bench players have got. Gonna be the deepest team in the playoffs by far.
Omax looks so much better especially handing the ball when he drives he drives and his shot has been falling more consistently
