Before to make some trades before the 6th of February, I would like to see Mitch using the players he has in the existing roster when it is needed. Mitch is definitely the one to blame for the series of losses in january. Our players are not capable to play smallball like OKC because they just don't manage to switch with the right timming. Having stated this, when the opposite team is playing with two bigs, we need to answer accordingly with our lineups. If Mamu is the only available PF, let's give him 30 minutes !!
Or the one to be traded before the 6th of February could be…. Mitch himself if he continues to suck ???
In general, the trade deadline is not the best moment to make moves for a rebuilding team, except for opportunistic moves (being the third team in a blockbuster deal and getting assets or moving the players you don't want anymore). Let's wait this summer to make some important moves and to bring good vets at the free agency (Yabusélé, Alexander-Walker, Aldama,…).
And do we really need to bring an allstar in the team to move from 12th place to the 9th place in the western conference and to be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs (because Wemby is not ready yet to be the gotoguy in a playoff serie) ? Let's trust the process… 😁😁
I've been keeping an eye on Juan Nunez. The kids just getting better and better. We do not need any trades and when CP3 is gone. I have high hopes he will step in and shock plenty of people with his ability to create for Wemby and cast. Front office gots this and is saving the big bag for our guy wearing 1. How about we keep Da Mustang but swap him with Malaki or Tre Jones w/ Zach n 4 2nd round picks for Lonzo Ball instead….low risk possible high reward.
