  1. With Gordon coming back out of injury and Murray getting his groove back this team might be the sleeper championship candidate. If only they can get by OKC in the west.

  2. im sorry but this aint gonna work in the playoffs as much as its cool westbrook is playing well, even in the bubble the last time westbrook played meaningful playoff basketball he got completely shut down to do what he wants and you see a lot of wild shots, theres no way he doesnt revert to what hes been the last 5 years

  3. I wouldn't say "soars". to describe the difference between 74-and 79%… thats more like "jokic's winning number's is 5% better". From this dumb writing, I suspect that the numbers being used are non inclusive of the wins on the wins shared by both by both being on Denver ! SMH!

  4. What's even crazier is if only russ was the only one doing it this guy will say russ is a statpadder but russ was doing it with jokic so the narrative is different.

  5. I always thought Westbrook could be a really good fit there, if they coukd figure things out. It naturally took a while for things to gel. The most underrated aspect of his importance there could come in the playoffs.

They tend to start series' slow and, agaibst 50 win and better teams, that results in them digging a major hole that they haven't been able to dig themselves out of, losing to every 50 win team they've faced in their regular playoff runs. If Westbrook helps keep the fure lit for them as a leader, things could chsnge and they could end up besting the 50 win teams they'll likely have to face to make a deep run against truly elute teams for the first time since this core has been together.

  6. My dad fuckin loves Jokic. He is a black man in chicago who thinks no one is better than michael jordan or can amount. My dad is so stuck in his ways but when it comes to Jokic, he gets so excited and rightfully so. Its incredible how quick people forget how talented and driven Westbrook is which angers me. I agree Jokic gives Russ that extra push he needs. Usually Russell carries every team hes been in and you can tell it frustrates him at times when hes the only one putting in work and yet loses a game anyway because his teammates arent up to par with his style. But with Jokic, someone who has akways played as a high level wirking beside him, it takes the weight off Westbrook's shoulders a little bit and makes Russ feel like hes not out there all alone. Not that Russ cant carry a team by himself, we've seen him do it many times. All in all they have worked really well together and you can tell all they care about is the win.

  7. And if annnnny one mentions stat padding…look at Jokers last 4 games and those stat lines, then remember he put up 4 triple doubles in a row without playing a single minute in the 4th. Could you imagine his stats if he did play in the 4th!!!

  8. I'm a nuggets fan and Jokic is getting the best entry passes he's ever gotten in his career. All because of Westbrook

  9. most people laughed about Westbrook's turnovers, yes because he is willing to take those risky interior passes, Jokic knows that, now he can stand/roll near the rim and just wait for that pass instead of dribble posting which exerts a lot more energy, now it's less energy and more efficient. they are both willing to take and ready to receive risky passes and they both know it.

  10. I think this season Russell has the best long range shooting rate and stabler shooting posture in his career make Nuggets opponent have tougher defence choice.

  11. Great evaluation of the connection these 2 MVP's have. Jokic's finesse + Westbrook's energy combined with basketball smarts by both men = possibly the best Nuggets team ever (including the Championship year), especially when considering that Porter, Murray, Gordon & Braun have all contributed greatly, when healthy and on the beam.

  12. THE MOST INSANE FACT TO THIS:

Not ONCE there was the word 3-Pointer-shot in this video! Not ONCE

This video was analyzing two great players being deadly as f*** in combo, and there was zero talking about 3's.
In the year 2025. The era of 3 pointer.

  13. Nugs were my team last year and often had really fun games, but they're so much more fun to watch with Rus on the court. On nights when Murray, Braun, and/or Gordon are popping along w him and Jokic, its a total fireworks show.
