I will say this, that when a team has a few injuries. You chalk it up to misfortune and move on to the next man in line. But when you have the amount of injuries to your team that it's more than 4 players in a 16 man roster. That says that the team trainers are not doing their job and keeping the players in the right conditioning. All of them are either Foot, calves, hamstring or lower back. Meaning that they are not conditioning the lower level of the body
If you want to cut someone, cut Morris. The Mavs need that spot to bring up players or add one from the buyout market

I really don’t see a need to make a trade-due to all the injuries. Obviously this is not our year so why make a drastic move to mess up the future just ride it out with the players we got and if we can find a big man on a two way deal then that’s great

Mavs got to be busy. Nico needs to pull his bag of magic out again. The question is simple. If this is our year having Irving & Luka is not guaranteed. Are either going to sign any type of long term deal with this current roster? Injuries have killed us, yes but it also gave the next 10 players the opportunity to prove themselves. Which Zero are 100% the answers outside Luka & Irving. Every other player are simply too inconsistent. One solid game followed by a weak game. Knowing we more than likely have to beat the Celtics. One must have great concern in Irvings last 16 games outcome. If you don't know it it's a dismal 1 win yes 1 win vs 15 losses. So him resigning is not guaranteed. Also Luka is 25 on his birth certificate but his body is much much older. We could have seen the best of him already. I hope not. But food for thought. So here we sit with 1 center and tons of other key players hurt. IMO, 1st bring up Sharpe as a back up 5. PJ and Omax and Kessler are the 4's. Klay and Naji are the ,3's. Irving & Grimes & Hardy are the 2's with Grimes also playing the 3 when needed. Luka, SD, Williams are the points. Leaves Gortman or Williams with one being sent to G league or released although I would release Morris if possible to bring Shape up. As for tades due to inconsistent play outside Luka, Irving, Liv & Gafford if a package deal with Jazz could bring in Kessler and Sexton (would love to get LM but he is probably untouchable). Would also love to get Turner/Thybul & Sexton. Gotta get healthy or let Nico bring in at least 3 better players.
My favorite 5 pickups for back up 5. Turner, Drummond, Kessler, Loony would love Capala. Turner would give us the center that can shoot the 3. Sign Turner to this year plus next year for Maxi, Williams, and 1st rd pick but dont think Pacers would do it.

Considering the lineup now and salary cap, and Myles Turner want the big contract, also have many team want the CENTER that can make 3PTS and can play the ISO, I think it is quite difficult to get him. Beside trade, I think the most important thing is how to reduce the risk that our player always get injured. Now just focus on Kylor Kelley and Sharp, hope they can getting better and join the rotation.
