Because the net size and shape is never exactly the same from basket to basket in each arena it would be nonsensical to consider the net as part of the qualifications of the process of a made basket. The net is never the exact same from hoop to hoop so it would be ridiculous to use it as a standard as opposed to the actual rim. Without the rim there is no net. The rim is the actual hoop bruh so it’s a good basket cause the ball fully passes through the cylinder.
