The problem here is bucks fans are comparing what we would be getting in return (Lavine now) against what Middleton was a few years ago. He’s not that player anymore, and until we take off the nostalgia glasses we aren’t going to get anywhere. We can’t be sitting out here acting like Middleton is dishing dimes left and right, putting up 25 a night and playing lock down defense. He’s doing none of that at a high level at this point.
Making the case that “oh there’s no loyalty” is crap. So in the middle of a championship window we are supposed to carry this albatross because we want to be nice? The reason Middleton is being talked about in trades is not because nobody wants him, it’s because this VALUE is not what we are paying him.
We can sit here and rag on Lavine all you want, but if given the choice of a player that doesn’t do anything special vs a player that can score, I’ll take the points over nothing at this point.
Lavine on a bad night is dropping 15/5/5 … that’s Middleton on a great night at this point in his career…
Player development is a joke. This was a perfect game to give Tyler Smith some real minutes. We are the only team in the NBA who do not play their rookies.

Only Trent was good off the bench and still a -11. Dame good game but couldn’t his 3s. Just a rough late game against a good team with a good defense these things happen. On to the next one
We really cant take anything away from this loss as if khris played his normal game or bobby or aj green played we would have won 💯 and the clippers are act a good team tbf
Middleton makes too much to be traded, has too many restrictions, not playing his mid-range game, and too willing to miss games. Portis right now has shown he's needed. Dame getting 10 boards something wrong. A Jackson had another bad defensive game. Tyler Smith is actually looking good and should be playing more. Dame had a triple double and missing 3s. All said a winnable game, turnovers and Harden hot streak turned a 15-point win into a sad loss.

They need Lavigne plus a young center to give Brook some rest. KMid is a very good player that never worked on his body. There is not a single line of definition in his muscular system. And we are talking about a professional player who earns millions. So he will have a steep decline like all these players. Just look at Embiid.
