A MASSIVE De’Aaron Fox Trade Is Coming…

DE’AARON FOX IS ON THE MOVE… ESPN is reporting that the Kings have opened up trade talks with Fox and the expectation is that he will be on a different team prior to the 2025 NBA trade deadline… with Fox having a specific team in mind.

  1. Dude got the coach fired while 1 and a half foot already out the door. Double kill…

  2. It is no secret that the Spurs are probably the number 1 destination.

Now, Houston, Brooklyn, Denver, New Orleans, Washington, Toronto, Chicago, Minnesota…all make sense. Miami only makes sense for Sacramento if it isn't Jimmy Butler. (Because who wants that headache when he is just going to want out anyway?)

Now, I certainly hope the Kings work out a deal to keep Fox, there is still time to do that, but yeah, I do think he probably is on the move.

I don't know why Golden State would do that trade. I get why Sacramento does it. Just not why Golden State does it. Golden State makes more sense for Butler than Fox. It makes more sense for DeRozan, Sabonis or Monk than it does for Fox.

For the Kings, I think they would probably want to get that Ben Simmons expiring contract, get the lottery pick this season to increase their odds of a Cooper Flagg sweepstakes win, and probably get at least one good player who makes sense to the roster.

I don't see the Kings giving up Keegan Murray in a Fox trade unless they are getting some incredible young talent back in the deal. Because if Fox goes, I think the writing is on the wall that Monk, Huerter, DeRozan, Lyles and Sabonis are gone as well. So they probably are going to want to keep Murray, Carter, Ellis to help build the new team.

The only way I see the Kings still trying to win in a Fox trade is if they are going to get Brandon Ingram because it moves everyone into a new place in the lineup. Which does make sense as New Orleans is Fox's hometown. So playing there probably would be a big deal for him.

    PF Ingram
    SF Murray
    C Sabonis
    SG Ellis
    PG Monk

With DeRozan, Carter and Lyles leading the second unit and maybe making a minor trade to replace Len as the backup C and getting more depth with a Kevin Huerter trade.

Otherwise, I see this as a full rebuild.

  3. That kinda can't happen cuz he's an X factor franchise player, a monkey wrench in the ultimate scheme of things … He'll be saved as great drama for next year

  4. What were the Kings thinking when they signed DeMar? And then they doubled down by firing Brown… They should fire themselves instead. How the hell was their team supposed to benefit by adding DeMar? 😂

  5. My first time here, and definitely "like&subscribe". I live in Los Angeles, been a Lakers supporter (not FAN) since 1969, when I was 14. I typically view Lakers based YouTube channels, but for 3yrs now, they've ALL been garbage. I've subscribed and unsubscribed from ALL of them. Between the hosts and the comment sections, they ALL became nauseating juvenile, with all the whining and complaining …I couldn't take it. I stopped here because of the Fox thumbnail, and I'm seriously impressed. Efficient, knowledgeable, and thorough….my kinda stuff. Can't commit to regularity, so I won't need any notification bell, but if you drop something interesting, I'm there. Good job by you.

  6. Houston would be foolish to trade for Fox. They need to realize Amen is the on ball primary.

  7. Kings could use a shake up and Fox could use a change of scenery. Monk is a better playmaker than Fox IMO and him and Derozan can fill the scoring column. Plus whoever they get back with valuable draft capital.

  8. I think that the Spurs are the destination. The issue becomes are the Kings willing to take a pick based package? I'm not sure they're ready to rebuild, I think they want to stay competitive. Ultimately though I think they do it because you just got to get value for the guy who is leaving regardless. Then they'll have the option to use the picks in trade.

  9. yall keep saying players wanna play with wemby but i havent heard or seen one player say it yet

  10. kings: cam johnson, vassell, tre jones, 2026 1st from SA, and swap rights back on their 2031 1st from SA

    spurs: fox, ellis, & sharpe

nets get: huerter, branham, expiring deals from kings, 2025 1st from SA, 2027 1st from SA

  11. If you know that fox wants to come to your team and only your team in free agency 2026 and your team is set up to make moves in 2026 (meaning the time between now and then isnt as important to you then why trade away assets instead of waiting for a cheaper contract in free agency?

  12. Whats even the point of this franchise if they couldn't keep not even such a strong momentum like this going?

  13. You're pretty ready to trade deer fox and I think they would all be excited once he's moved and the team will no longer have him. A lot of people prefer monk out there over fox.

  14. If this was the offseason, the Nets make sense, but as of now, it makes zero sense. They already traded DFS and Schroder and are looking to find a suitor for Cam Johnson. Brooklyn also currently has the 5th best draft odds. I don't think Sean Marks is thinking about sabotaging the tank to get Fox.

  15. What about Milwaukee? They need offense, and then they have a big three of Giannis, Lillard, and Fox. I don’t know where the Bucks stand in terms of cap space.

  16. Phoenix gets Jimmy, Sacramento gets their picks and terry rozier, and miami gets fox. Fill in with other players for salary purposes. Probably would have to include another team for Phoenix to offload Beals salary, one which Beal would be willing to go to, which has the cap space and young rotation players and draft picks to also go to Sacramento. Maybe the lakers, nets or houston? Okc?

  17. Spurs, and Miami.
I doubt the Spurs make a move for Fox, since CP3 is still there, and Wemby is 20. They'll make a move for a star in 2 to 3 years.

I really think Haliburton is the Spurs' main target, and they'll monitor the Pacers the next 2, 3 years.

Miami, I don't think they have the assets to make it work, unless Sac becomes a part of a multi team trade for Jimmy. But, they'll chase Fox.

  18. He is from Houston he might wanna go there but does Rockets really want him when they can wait for someone like Anthony Edwards whos going through the same disappointments Fox just went through

  19. Kings fan here. Nice fox highlight reel. Too bad he doesn't play like that all the time. Can't wait to see that guy go. Not a leader and has absolutely ZERO dog in him.
