ps…Jimmy Butler is about player movement. If I cut grass and get mad at my boss, I quit and go work for another company. This is a long legal battle. Jimmy has less rights than guy who cuts grass.

Thanks for putting Old School up as your guest. The League is not what it was and the product is declining. It is not because of the players. Number one, the three-point line needs fixing. No more corner threes. Everybody shooting like they Steph and the problems is NO ONE is like Steph. Too many missed threes hurt the game and take away from the physicality. Adam Silver is the other problem. They are focused on making sure teams don't pay too much? Cause you guys will make too much money? I KNOW the Brooklyn Nets are TANKING this season. See, there's an SI article that says Tim is pinning the Jimmy Butler saga on Pat. Okay, so yeah, Pat allowed Jimmy to fly separately, do some stuff that not typically Heat Culture, etc. But hey, Don't you think that that's his way of adjusting to these modern players? He gave Jimmy some leeway, albeit against what Pat believes in as an old-school man. We never really heard anything about Jimmy, until Pat got sick of Jimmy missing a lot of games and even not playing as hard in the regular season, and then he'd yap on camera about what would've happened if he had played. Dame was dismayed at the roster for years, then eventually asked for a trade; didn't act like Jimmy. Klay was pissed and ready to move on; didn't act like Jimmy. Paul George asked for an extension, Clippers wouldn't give it to him; didn't act like Jimmy.
What a lot of people overlook is Pat never said he have no intention of extending Jimmy, all he said is we don’t have to do it RIGHT NOW. And rightfully so after being in the play-in tournament 2 seasons in a row. You can’t give half ass effort throughout the regular season and expect to win a chip or get an extension. There is no reason why this team should’ve been the 8th seed in the Eastern conference period

When you try to "strong arm" Riley, you lose. Period. And as a Heat fan, I hate to see this. Though Riley didn't extend Butler cuz' of his injuries and he then acted like a child, not like a pro.
