The Knicks are coming off of one of their best games of the season primarily due to their consistent defense effort throughout the game. All-Star Ja Morant was looking to have a huge game in the Garden but unfortunately, found himself in JAIL as Mikal Bridges suffocated him with incredible defense. The Knicks as a team played at a level we have never seen before this season and resulted in a win against one of the best teams in the league. The loss caused Ja Morant to make a move no one was expecting… Troy Mahabir breaks all of this down!

I hope Mr Leon Rose fixes the Knicks bench by the end of the trade deadline. The Knicks needed it "BAD" when they faced a tougher team by the beginning of the 2nd half of the NBA season and NBA playoffs.
Luv the win. I attribute it to simple rest. They looked rested. Tibbs is finally paying attention to simple facrs. Find ten players you can rotate. "Dont burn out your stars". That said , this is one game. We have some tough teams coming. Go Knicks!

Was a great win for us but it's just one game in many still to come let's not get cocky. I mean we still have a problem defensively and we a small team we need another big and we need the bench to play like they did in this game but can't repeat this if coach not playing them.
Memphis just kept passing the ball to some phantom player. Just randomly throwing the ball to nobody.

That wasn't just a win by the Knicks that was a message to not only the grizzlies it was a message to the league to say we're getting healthier each day we're building chemistry with each game we're moving to one accord on both sides of the court.
Why is that happening because coach thibs is trusting his bench players and the more he trust them the longer he'll play them which will give the starters a rest in the third quarters so they can be fresh for the 4th quarter.
Okay……. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It’s only one game. In reality, this only makes us 1-5 against teams ahead of us in the standings. The next stretch of games will tell us exactly where we are. We’ve got the Nuggets, Lakers and Rockets coming up (#’s 4, 5 &2 respectively in the West). Additionally, the Celtics are 5 games away followed by the Pacers. This will be a tough stretch that will be very telling. With MR saying that he’ll be ready for Boston, things are about to get very interesting…..

If this Mikal sticks around will be the reason why that trade of giving up those many pieces for!! I just love the way our team played. What I think made a big difference is the 9 man rotation. Players are getting rest. They were burnt out. That’s why we kept losing. Now with Shamet back and playing at the level he’s capable of and the same goes for Deuce, Precious and Payne, we are a dangerous team. Precious really impressed me. I don’t think Precious should be traded.
If Mitch comes back healthy…….. That should cement it.

Precious running the floor and slam dunking is a suprise. Even the occasional 3 point shot. He's truly an underated player and I hope the Knicks appreciate his value and keep him on the roster for a long time.
