Why Miami Heat DIDN’T WANT Draymond Green | Interview with Warriors legend Tim Hardaway Sr.

Back in 2012, during the LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh era, Tim Hardaway was a scout for the Miami Heat and told Pat Riley that they should draft Draymond Green, but Pat replied, “I don’t want him.” Draymond expresses his disappointment at not being drafted and shares his belief that they were not committed to Heat Culture. He then reminds Tim about getting dunked on by Baron Davis. Finally, Tim discusses the NBA point guards who were difficult to guard.

  1. Draymond would have fit anywhere, I always would tell people that about my MSU Spart Dawg! Great how Tim showed love to KJ, Terry Porter, GP & Mark Jackson. Mr Killer Crossover was great too, all those guys would kill it in the game today!

  2. Any team that gets draymond is auntomatic 4 rings. That made him the second greatest power forward ever.. 4 rings matters

  3. Glad to see dray finally getting his flowers. There’s so many people who’d favorite team is golden state , and because they’re casuals ( nothing wrong with being one ) they cannot see that draymond is actually the most important part to that team winning. Ppl are gonna hate this but golden state If all other players are healthy the warriors have more success with draymond and not curry than curry and not draymond. History has proven this when dray goes down the warriors simply DONT win. I’ve seen them win games without curry several different seasons.

  4. Draymond would not be wanted because he’s over the hill he’s no longer the same effective player that he once was he’s best now at starting fights on the court… he’s much better now hosting the podcast he is actually quite talented at this ..but playing basketball ??? he is near the end.

  5. People just don't know how valuable Dray is as a basketball player. Much of it is his own fault for throwing people off with all the extra stuff he does on the floor lol but Dray is so underrated.

  6. So Miami didnt want Draymond and got rid of Pat Bev. I guess at that time Miami didnt want pitbulls
