If you think about it this way, yes he's "leaving millions on the table" by not signing with the Kings but the Kings play in California, one of the worst states when it comes to taxes so he'll basically be giving up away almost half of his contract if he stays with the Kings and not guaranteed winning a championship or ofcourse he can try go and win somewhere else for a little bit less of money in the contract but at the end of the day it would basically be kinda the same or even more money than he would of got after taxes in California. Get it?
