I'm sure the crew kind of knows it's not working that well, lot of silences and not a lot of chemistry back and fourth honestly..They're too reserved and careful with everything, the timing isn't great. I know comparing to TNT with EJ kenny and chuck isn't really a fair comparison, but still..it's kind of tough to watch, sorry guys just being honest, I'm sure everyone wants to do a good job, it just isn't working. Nobody's trying to make comments or any riffing or taking any risks. I stopped watching NBA games several years back (for obvious reasons), just watch TNT and highlights with EJ chuck kenny and shaq sometimes. I remember back in the day there was another crew that was good on NBA TV I think. Vince Cellini as the host, Dennis Scott, and Shaq were good together. Funny, uninhibited, random..Vince was awesome and they all had some good chemistry. Vince is probably retiring or not sure if he's working somewhere else, but add one more person maybe Jaylen Rose or people that just take more risks and like banter.. The host of this show seemed a bit better on his podcast one time I saw a little bit, but something doesn't translate on the show. I can tell he's trying, but it just isn't working well. Sorry for being blunt about it..
Losing to the 76ers like that just shows Lakers aren't a top 6 team. LeBron doesn't play hard enough on D and Bronny is still not ready to be on the court. Too hesitant.
The 76ers have to cut Paul George and Joel Embiid. They just make the team worse. Let the players who want to play play, they will outdo those to ex-stars purely with their heart.
The lakers need another big… I saw A.D say he played better at the 4 than the 5… If you look at their team when they won.. They had A.D playing the 4 and Mcgee/Howard playing the 5… I still can't get over the lakers not resigning Howard… He was getting paid hardly anything and was a gamechanger for them in their bubble run… It's not all about points… it's the size and and threat in the paint.
