Question: If Blazers got the 6th pick and thought that was catastrophic, who would they have to trade to get up to the 3rd pick?
A lot of times we get so caught up with the Development of Shae and Scoot. I get it… but they’re not even 22.
I’m glad you opened with mid-lottery Picks. I strongly believe playing competitive/meaningful games are a key part of the TEAM’S Development. Tanking won’t guarantee a top 5 draft pick, it’s terrible for the culture, and it won’t bring anything OUT of our players to talk about talent….
Take the Houston Rockets for example, despite them being a “tanking” team they made a push for the play-in and still ended up with the 3rd overall pick.
Now they’re a 2 Seed in the WEST

7,8,9 pick saves the owner money. The Blazers GM crafted an exceptional "tanking for financial success" handbook. **benching lottery rookies keeps their stats down, reducing the salary needed for contract extension.
No Tre Johnson? 6'6" SG who shoots lights out and can get his own shot anywhere on the floor. Basically an offensive hub.
If you don't get a high draft pick, I think you should bring in Danny Wolf, a player who is a young version of Jokic
If VJ Edgecombe is available at 6 and the Blazers have that pick. He should 100% be taken imo
Should definitely take a look at Liam Mcneally from Uconn. 6'7 shooter long and sneaky athletic.
