De’Arron Fox is Officially on the Trade Block!
De’Arron Fox after 8 seasons with the Sacramento Kings is in contract disputes with the team and after a offseason where the Kings tried to convince him to stay by bringing in the likes of Demar Derozan and Domantas Sabonis a few years earlier, he wants out. Ever since last summer he’s been wanting a max contract of some kind, but the Kings and many Kings fans know he just isn’t worth the deal. But losing him for nothing also isn’t something they want to deal with. So now with the Kings stuck in the Play-in once again, they now want to sell Fox to the highest bidder as he’s linked with the Spurs to be a partner with Wemby, or even play for the Miami Heat and make a decent big 3 with himself, Bam Adebayo, and Tyler Herro who’s turned into a All Star. This is just a simple standstill on both sides with the team not wanting to pay up, and the player wanting money. Fox in my opinion isn’t worth the money as he’s not one of the best players in the league, and considering the Kings are just not a contender, being stuck with him for another 4-5 years just isn’t viable. If this trade goes down it might just mean the Kings will be back in rebuild mode after such a long road of trying to be relevant again.

I think only fair at this point, the Kings really couldn't provide him with the talent he needed from the beginning (Marvin Bagley cough cough) and trading Sabonis would have meant like 1-2 season of overhauling the teams play style and adjusting with whomever they were going to get. (never a guarantee to work please check the 76ers and Suns as why)
I’m pretty sure the Kings are cool with paying fox. It’s just fox that doesn’t want to sign an extension unless the team is a actual contender and the reason why they are shopping him is because he is planning to leave in free agency 2026

Let’s be real for 2 secs , how many times has anybody seen a drug deal go down whether they know the people and didn’t call or do anything about it. Like it’s weird to throw that in a cops face but never call the cops when you see the meth dealers and what house they get it from like dude you’re in the neighborhood you see it stop playing. I know it’s just a show but people in real life who go hard at cops for not doing the job but won’t call them is insane.
