  1. Jason, you realize you’ve been advocating for Cam Johnson to be traded to GS to fill the 2nd option role lmao like what ! Cam is great shooter but he’s can’t even average over 20 ppg on the NETS. That’s why we’ve been calling you crazy for the cam Johnson obsession. Zach Lavine is the obvious ideal option even it costs more.

  2. Wiggins is the key to warriors success…. also, thunders do not want to meet warriors in playoffs. they will lose. period.

  3. Title should have been, "Warriors stun Thunder despite all ref attempts to give the game to OKC by handing Shai a permanent 'Go to foul line whenever you feel like it' card"……

  4. Wiggins has been the most consistent player on the roster including Steph all season. This idea that he's suddenly playing well etc and then still wanting to throw him in every possible trade deal is just insanity. The chances of giving him up in a trade and actually improving the roster is tiny to non existent. He's been the teams best perimeter defender for years now.

  5. Mailbag: Hey Jason, huge fan of the show. Been watching since the beginning of your time with the Volume. I did want to ask. You’ve mentioned before you do a little bit of coaching, have you ever considered getting into that full time or even training guys?

  6. In no universe would I trade for Jimmy Butler.

Shea is working the system and you can’t blame him, but geez I hate the grift. Is he going to turn into a good stats player for a team that can’t win in late in the playoffs

Warriors just have to get to the playoffs and be a team that no one wants to play

  7. We have the 2nd, its Kuminga. We just need enough patience for him to get back and back into shape. He was a monster every night before he went down.

  8. MAILBAG:
Since Jaden Ivey's injury, Cade's usage and turnover rate have skyrocketed & while initially we got away with it, the last few L's have all had the same theme – teams realizing no-one else can dribble or break down the D from the half court, so they end up trapping/blitzing him in every PnR. I don't believe this is sustainable if the Pistons are serious about making the playoffs – Cade will wear out and we don't have the high-end talent to keep losing the turnover differential and expect to keep winning games. I think a trade for CJ McCollum or Sexton using THJ's expiring + 2nds is a cost-effective solution to add ball-handling/scoring punch without sacrificing the future but no-one in the Pistons community really know how Trajan will approach this deadline. My question is, would you make this deal for CJ/Sexton to ease the load off Cade and if not, what can be done from a coaching/schematics approach to cut down on his usage/turnovers? Thanks as always for your content!

  9. Bro I love your work… seriously my favorite basketball journalist/podcast. But on what planet is Cam Johnson a better player than Andrew Wiggins? The downplay of Wiggins throughout this episode is a bit absurd

  10. Thinking Cam Johnson can do anything better than Wiggs besides shoot 3s is idiotic. I'm sorry, I question your credibility after that statement sir. Hell naw 👎

  11. Steph is a Magic, Bird, Kobe level. The likelihood Golden State will find another step within the next 40 years is highly doubtful. They need to make this work for as long as they can, right now!

  12. Ermmm Wiggins is ballin rn jus sayin 😈… 2022 wigs is back . Cam Johnson without Kuminga checks out tho I saw the package that works

  13. Steph has been terrible in clutch moment most of his career.. I like how Jason just makes shit up.. Go look at his clutch stats jason.. Go look at KDs while your at it..

  14. Maybe just maybe GSW have those wins because top teams do not take them seriously?

  15. the stats about warriors winning against good teams is cool and all, but how much of it was from the first stretch of the season?

  16. Wiggs been balling all year dude…wtf are you talking about cam Johnson…better than wiggs..gtfoh,..

  17. I wouldn't trade Wiggs for Jimmy Butler straight up. I'd rather lose with Warriors we love than win with shitheads like Jimmy Butler. What does Jimmy get you in the playoffs more than Wiggs? 5 more points at team average efficiency? (or lower because he doesn't shoot the 3 as well as Wiggs) 2 more rebounds? Wiggs is like $23m. Butler is going to demand $50m. No frickin way.

  18. Wiggins appears to be playing very well right now so why trade him, of all people? And i think GSW ought to consult Wardell & Draymond & Steve… Btw, Schröder & Wiggins & Looney were playing so well the whole night, Wiggins' athleticism & grace & defense & shooting; Dennis' defense & shot creation, shot selection & beautiful passing; & Looney's blocking, rebounding & shot selection & they were playing assertively & aggressively…and the rest of the Warriors played exceptionally well & gutsy the entire night…overall ALL of rhe Warriors were playing with grit, energy, gutsiness, aggressivess & a desire to win. They found a way to win the entire night, they were problem solving the entire night, they came into the game mentally prepared. It was a joy to watch, a real pleasure. (edit: and for once it just shut up the people who've been urging for Steve Kerr to resign)

  19. Actually Shai shot 34 points from the field and 18 from the foul line. So he really is an elite player even without the foul shots. But ALL the GSW players wanted this win & came prepared mentally & offense- & defense-wise. And Wardell did great while running them (& himself) ragged…great game, happy for them, happy for Steve, happy for the coaching staff.

  20. Hi Jason
Remember when Durant said he left okc because we where not a basketball team like a team that moves the ball around that time we a team of athletes when we played the warriors yesterday and Steve Kerr says we wld allow only sga and jdub to beat us how do okc makes sure we play okc basketball sharing the ball and creating advantages on the offense okc is better when sga is double team how will you advice mark daignault to not allow Steve Kerr dictate how we wld play

  21. Trade Draymond, not Wiggins. Wiggins is younger, more consistent, healthy. Draymond are none of those things anymore. Give me Steph, Lavine, Wiggins, Kuminga, Looney

  22. This Warriors team need an offensive help. Vuc would help them get through the slog fest regular season

  23. Tomorrow we will see if we can say the dubs are back or not i hope they come as they showed up in 2nd half vs thunder

  24. Do you think Chet solves a lot of the okc offensive issues? I feel like his spacing n self creation/playmaking really could unlock a lot of things for okc. He’s an all star caliber player, and his defensive abilities will give okc even more room for error. Having Chet+ajay Mitchell back, and a healthy okc squad I have no doubts in their offense

  25. Jason has a great basketball mind when it comes to strategy and skills. Roster construction is not one of them. The idea of giving up Wiggins and Kuminga for Butler, especially considering his situation is crazy to even think about. If that's what's on the table it's the easiest decision a GM could ever make. You don't make the trade.
