So the big question on everyone’s lips (at least in the Cavs locker room) was, how would LeBron co-exist with these players at his position who were better than him? The simple answer was: he wouldn’t. As months into LeBron’s rookie season, both Ricky Davis and Darius Miles got traded, with Davis being accused of conduct detrimental to the team, including but not limited to repeatedly yelling at LeBron. These are not the only two teammates to have been accused of jealousy towards LeBron though, with then-coach Paul Silas stating that this was a common theme throughout the team in LeBron’s rookie season. Despite all of this LeBron still managed to put together a historic Rookie of the Year campaign.
