Problem now for the lakers is that they don’t have any defense or bigs. Luka and Bron are 2 primary ball handlers and that’s not gonna work chemistry wise. Even without luka the Mavs still have kyrie, AD, Klay, Lively, and Gafford.
Mavericks won this trade and the already bad Lakers defense got worse and defense wins championships.

Luka for AD is insane! What do the Mavs know about Luka we don't? A 25 year old superstar who just went to the finals traded for a 31 year old star who may be past him prime is seriously crazy. AD is a great player but this may go down as the stupidest trade of all time in about 10 years. LBJ and Luka could win it this year. Yes defense is important, but in basketball, scoring wins. I predict 2 decades or more of irrelevance for the Mavs.

Luka/A.D…. time will tell who really benefited from the trade. On paper looks like the Mavs did. Kyrie ball handling, Clay spacer, AD anchor in the middle, good supporting cast.

Portland told Dame they weren't rebuilding so he signed his extension. Then they decide to rebuild and he understandably asks out because he was lied to. But the NBA praised how Portland handled his situation. Garbage. Jimmy didn't get his 2nd extension and decided to quit on fans.
