That was a stupid trade.
…but what nobody is considering, is that Lebron is the most fit athlete in sports history…so this is the best situation for Luka and the influence Lebron will have on him, as it relates to physical condition.

luka is significantly better than AD right now, and AD has injury issues and a shorter window. its a horrible trade for the mavs
I wonder if the Lakers will turn right around and trade Luka to another team and get even more pieces and picks. Not sure if they’re allowed to re-trade right after but, if so, could be a possibility.

Saying the Mavs went from mediocre to great when they quite literally just made the NBA finals with Luka carrying their ass is crazy talk, it's like we just forgot what Luka can do come the playoffs. And all of a sudden we're just ignoring the fact AD isn't exactly the most reliable player health wise, in fact Luka, despite being "fat" and in "poor condition" is more available on average than AD, considerably so. As far as fit goes I agree, it SHOULD be a seamless fit with AD and I'm actually excited to see Ky and AD playing together, assuming Ky doesn't ask to leave now LOL. The Lakers did the move anyone else in their position would do, regardless of how Luka fits in their current roster, he's a 25 year old generational superstar who's just tapping into his prime years and all they had to do was trade a 31 to 32 year old player (a GREAT one to be fair) and a bag of chips

These guys trying to make the trade make sense for the Mavs by diminishing Luka. He averaged 34-10 and 9 with 1.5 steals. So if he’s in shape he’s averaging wilt numbers ? Better question is why aren’t all the other guys who are on shape helping more 🤣

Nobody gives Mark Cuban his respect as a gm + businessman. I like Luka but let’s be honest he’s terrible on defense. You get AD a player that can defend and score! Dallas definitely won this trade.

LA could shake Luka in negative ways. He's accustomed to the team first approach of the Mavs organization. He is not used to the Bron direction of an organization. I dont think Luka ever craved the LA lifestyle.
