Tom Thibodeau, Jalen Brunson & Josh Hart on Knicks’ loss, concern for OG Anunoby’s injury
Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau, captain Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart called surrendering 128 points to the Lakers on their home court in Saturday night’s loss “disappointing.” LA’s smaller lineup gave the Knicks problems in addition to Lebron James’ triple-double. Of more immediate concern for the team is the foot injury sustained by OG Anunoby in the third quarter, that sidelined him for the rest of the night.

The Knicks were shut down from the beginning of the Laker game. They shut down both Brunson and KAT. Mikal was nowhere to be found. My strong opinion is they are unable to make a significant trade this week unless they trade from the starting lineup. The bench, as well as it has played lately, is not physical enough like last years team. If they make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs I would be shocked.
I've been a fan for 35 years and it hurts to say this ; this team is not going to win 🏆in my lifetime they're never good enough best offensive team ever and there are 6 better teams than us.

Going in to this stetch of 5 games against quality west coast opponents I thought going 3-2 would be good (already won 3) and 4 be excellent, I never realistically thought they would win all 5. They had great games against Denver and Memphis and now all of sudden people are upset at 1 loss.
