  1. Ashamed to admit I turned this one off. I thought it was over, and that my time would be better served on homework. Someone revoke my C's fan card

  2. kP just takes out JB offense out the door because they like running the offense through KP and completely ignore brown and also White…KP loves it because he gets to shoot and he doesn’t like to pass once he gets the ball.

  3. I came very close to turning this one off. But at the start of the 4th I said let me take my dog for a walk-maybe they’ll turn it around. Sure enough, when I came back in, they had cut the lead to 10. But those first 3 quarters were putrid. Awful shooting, sporadic defense and sloppy play overall. Then, Hauser hit those two big threes, Boston finally locked in defensively & JT did the rest. This would have been a disheartening loss heading into big games this week w/CLE, DAL & NYK. I almost feel like Tatum is just trolling everyone and he can turn it on & off anytime he wants. Still wish he’d play in the paint more but🤷🏻‍♂️
    Thanks John! ☘️🔒

  4. Man I loved watching Tatum's shot selection tonight. Mid Range and not just settling for 3's. JB also with the mid range as well as D White with clutch shots. Please do this for a full game. Stop taking teams light and put your foot down from start to finish.

  5. Honestly I turned off the game towards the end of the 3rd. The back door cuts and just straight up laziness defensively just turned me off. I proceeded to check X to see the hate spewing in but saw the 14 point deficit leading into the 4th. I’m glad I watched the rest of the game.

What upsets me the most about this team is when they fall off the wagon defensively. I just think defence isn’t guaranteed every night even with a lineup like we have. I loved Marcus Smart because he always put his body on the line to defend. He knew there was no other way but to make the effort.

I really hope the mentality is to defend over the next half of the regular season. I think this team has the raw talent offensively and it will come as long as we lock teams down. It creates this great flow and confidence in transition. Yes, shots should fall but the first target is to defend. The math will math, effort however is a choice.

  6. I’m ngl this was some of the best defense I’ve seen from Tatum in a while and he literally guarded the 1-5. Defense trickles down from our best players. They see Tatum lagging off and Jaylen trying our players are going to take the night off. When they both locked in plus Porzingis doing what he do… oh boy

  7. I think the Cs could solve a lot of problems if instead of practice the team was just forced to watch the long form version of the first 2.5 quarters
They could feel the pain and disgust knowing they would win

  8. Said to my wife in the mid to late third Celtics will comeback and make it close. Didn’t know they would win but knew this team is too good.

  9. Thanks John for calling out JB & JT for complaining incessantly about their perceived lack of calls by the refs. As you said, Just Play Basketball and everything else will take care of itself!

  10. I've been saying all along that when this CELTICS team decides to actually LOCK IN ON D, there is NOBODY that can beat our Cs in a 7 game series . Shame on anyone for doubting on our guys . .
