Even in a rebuild the San Antonio Spurs continue to show they’re still a top 3 organization in the nba. They didn’t have to give up Castle , Vassell, Johnson or Scohan. Sure they gave up some draft capital but it was with some other teams picks and only one of their picks. They didn’t even have to give up the hawks unprotected picks.
People are really down on Sacramento for this trade because they didn't get a ton of draft capital for Darren Fox but they got Zach LaVine to go along with the pics that they got. I just think they did better than people are saying. They knew they were going to lose Fox and they put together a decent package and got a guy back who's actually better on offense this year than Fox is. I don't know why people keep ignoring the fact that they also receives Zach lavine. They also received his giant contract lol 😊
Nicko sold the best shoe of his careeryou dont understand nothing………… Niko just SOLD BEST SHOE of his life!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is anyone else aware of the fact that the San Antonio Spurs have two guys with the first name Harrison? I've never heard of anyone named Harrison except for Harrison Barnes but then I go to the Spurs page and it turns out that they have a guy named Harrison Ingram. It's like that dude is stealing both his first and last name from better known basketball players.😊
If you look behind the other dudes head you can see "Sorry Dallas" written on the wall.😊
Did Sacramento actually take a step down by trading Fox for Levine? I think they might have taken a small step up based on the year that both of those guy are having.
Y'all are sleeping on Stephon Castle. He is a future all-star
Sorry I have to correct a mistake made in this episode. Kirk or Kurt, I don't know his name, says that De'aaron fox has never shot 37 or 38% before but that's actually not true. He's shot 37% twice if you count the 36.9 from 2 years ago and the 37 percent from his second or third year. Actually if you look back at that 23 – 24 season he averaged nearly 27 points and almost 37% from the 3-point line. He's definitely able to start hitting 3's at a higher number he just hasn't done that in Sacramento all that much. He will be asked to shoot more threes and to hit more threes in San Antonio.
Sacramento Kings are a failure
Lakers pull off a steal: "conspiracy!"
Spurs pull off a steal: "great trade!"
Why this guy on a podcast lol
Wemby is supposed to be a Piston
I will miss Tre Jones who was a super positive kid. But I cannot believe we didn’t give up more for Fox.
Now the Spurs spending 1st rounders in a trade. What an odd saturday night. One in a million.
Why do people think Wembi is this unstoppable player. All I’ve seen from him is the 1 foot three pointer that he makes like 30% of the time. He is not Shaq 😂 or anywhere near Dominant. He is a 7 footer that plays like a 6’5 guard with the 3 point shooting
Woild have really liked to keep Cissoko. Would have rather given up KJ and or DV or even Sochan.
Fox was great in the playoffs. Was working the warriors until he broke his finger
@10:03 😂 historically, yes, the eater could use a chef, but Wendy seems to like cooking from 20 feet out. Hope he commits to the block
I have two main theories and Bill's going to love them…..
1) Mark Cuban sold his Mavs stock to a group of investors that are Lakers executives disguised and the Mav's GM is a insider spy/mole working for the Laker.
2) The Lakers have their own Epstein/Diddy spy agents running a blackmailing operation and have dirt on the Mav's GM or ownership..
I've run through the scenario several times and so far these are the only two explanations that make any sense.
Glad not to be a Kings or Mavs fan today..yikes
In a vacuum…Fox is better than LaVine. I will say this…I think his fit next to Sabonis is intriguing. He is significantly better than Fox in terms of shooting. The Kings offense might be better just because of the shooting. Just a thought.
Wemby is so overrated the 27 pick will be awesome
Gotta love a good three-teamer…
Spurs are so smart snd show so much patience. Amazing organization
It's a good trade. Not great but it's something to help Wemby out. Fox to me is a good player on a bad team and that's why he puts up the numbers he does. Lets hope he learns to play winning basketball and is able to complement Wemby.
That Sac got anything is a success. SA had them by the balls, and could have offered less and still gotten him.
10:59 why you saying it like one can't get a kick out of it TODAY
"When you have Randy Moss you throw the ball deep" 👍👍👍
This is what I love. Teams making moves to compete. This is fun time in NBA.
Just an incredible trade by SA. Keeping the majority of their assets, and still having flexibility to continue to make moves … could Austin Reaves be the next move for them?
Spurs should trade for Cam Johnson. OKC is probably trying their best to get Cam Johnson.
Mavericks should also try to get Cam Johnson.
So OKC or Spurs or Mavericks should try to get Cam Johnson, trading draft picks and some role player.
Bulls finally made a trade!!!
Fox gonna help them watch this
Once everyone knows a star wants out, the team is officially effed.
👽😁🏀🇫🇷👍 I bet Victor 's assist numbers will increase very quick ! Sorry Sacto's fans !
Who should/could the Spurs go for at the 3 spot?
He's not 21 hes 27 silly
People are acting like the Lakers rooked the Mavs, but this is the trade where somebody made out big time. It just seems out of balance.
BI to the Spurs for pennies on the dollar and then he actually buys in hard.
Leverage is the reason Fox basically said he was going to sign on 15 months for the spurs, so that immediately brings that value down for the kings. A team would've had to gamble that they could change his mind once in the organization. which is a huge unknown
Fox didn’t force his way out at all. Telling a team “just a heads up I’m not interested in resigning when my contract is up” is actually doing them a favor
Trae young would be a better fit
Spurs fan here. Very excited. Next move I'd like them to make is no move. Keep the youth movement going. Keep building from the draft. Challenge those guys. They have Harrison Barnes and Chris Paul out there as a benchmark. Be better than them and take their minutes.
