sources inside the Lakers was indicating that the deal was bigger and that there were two firsts, and it was Dalton Knecht, and the deal got whittled down because Rob Pelinka was able to convince the Dallas Mavericks that Luka is a lot of risk.

The Warriors are having the same problem that the Giants in baseball are having…unable to draw interest from free agents or make the right pitch to the brass.
AD is a great fit for the Mavs, I'm intrigued by this team for this year and maybe even next year…but this is a HORRIBLE trade. If they win a title with AD but Luka wins 3 in his career then the trade will still go down as terrible. The more luka wins, the worse this trade will get. But even if it ends up working for the mavs, it doesnt change that this was a stupid trade period
