Just brought them to the finals (thing that Embiid never did) , playing injured and therefore couldn't train properly. At 25 he made 5 time all nba 1st, he is top 3 in the nba, he just had last season 71 point and a 60, 20 triple double. He is not even comparable to embiid, he is litteraly the future of the Nba.
Ad is crippled by injuries, so his decline is going to come soon and is going to be very fast, and even with a good AD this Mavs team isn't good enough to win a Ring. So effectively theMavs just traded away a player thta is going to be top 3 in the NBA for at least a decade for nothing.
Someone could try to say that the Mavs are trying to rebuild, but what can be a better place to start a rebuild other than Luka at 25, being the negine of an offense.
And for people that say that defense builds championship, they are right, but the GSW won 4 chips with Curry, who is just a liability on defense, and they wewn't a bad defensive team, because you can have 1 not good efnesive player if you have a good defensive scheme that hides them.
