  1. A player can’t turn a team to a big market. Cleveland was never a big market. Milwaukee isn’t, Denver isn’t.

  2. Can someone tell Rashad that simply filling arena’s doesn’t make you a big market. If you fill a 10 000 capacity arena at $100 dollars on average and the Lakers only do 7 500 at $1 000 a ticket you clearly aren’t a big market. You just filled an arena. You have a big time player. The market goes beyond having one crowd drawer.
Cavs were never a big market WITH Lebron.
Lakers were a big market WITHOUT Kobe. Knicks have been a big market for decades even when they were absolute trash, same goes for the Clippers.

  3. Yall think D.Fox give af his wife is from San Antonio he grew up Katy, TX which is 2.5 hrs away. He’s at home I doubt he cares about the supermax contract. He gets to play at home, still get a big contract and have a chance to win.

  4. Sounds like crazy hate the spurs just keep finessing stay mad teams that actually build and have cultures win championships, now the narrative is fox won’t be shit and it doesn’t matter if he wins because it’s in San Antonio lol

  5. What is rashad arguing about. Most nba players want to play for a big market unless they get traded and fall In love in the city.

  6. TRASH nNOTHIN but TRASH opinions from this idiot and proud people esp this nick young dude and this dumb arenas

  7. Gil needs to bring in Mark Cuban to really shed light on this topic. Right now it’s just heavy opinions with no real facts, from an actual NBA team owner.

  8. Does anyone feel the NBA is a bit rigged at times? I mean the ratings are at the lowest it's been in years and coincidentally we have the biggest trade of all time right out of left field. I feel like every time something perfectly aligns. CLE getting the 1st round pick when Lebron was available, Derrick Rose 1st pick going to CHI, Wemby wanting to go to SAS and they magically get the first pick. When New Orleans was about to sell their team the NBA vetoed the CP3 trade and they get the First pick for AD, Knicks getting Ewing when their attendance and ratings plummeting, David Stern asking Shaq if he wanted to go somewhere hot or cold, obviously we would all say hot but, is he even suppose to ask him that? And so many more examples I can't fit all the words in this paragraph.

  9. What a stupid discussion, why should it matter if player plays in a "small market" team? Why the obsession with wanting every good player to play for the Lakers or the Knicks or the Celtics?

  10. Gil be just making up shit 😂😂 he said Duncan shoes aint sell. That's a lie

  11. Lebron was already top 10 before he got to the Lakers. This man cappin.. ain't nobody goin say lebron was a laker when he retires

  12. He said lebron wasnt nothing to he went to Miami. Yall aint here him sneak that in 😂😂 miami would actually be a small market btw

And Gil jhst said that shit 2weeks ago

  13. What’s crazy is that these guys are covering the news around the NBA but don’t know these players names or background…

  14. This man said they cant raise there ticket prices 😂😂 golden state and Cleveland when they had lebron the tickets were higher

  15. Miami is not a big market and people down there do not make a lot of money. When they had lebron n wade them tickets was high as hell

    These dudes cappin

  16. SMH when y'all actually talk about sports? All that childish stuff… Gil and Nick so lame… Gil yu not speaking for the world… Thats you're opinion as a Lakers fan

  17. The small market shit is crazy to me! Teams should be able to afford a super max player – to me, the onus is on the media to televise more games instead of trash ass teams that just happen to be in “larger markets”.

With these tv deals damn near doubling every year, if ESPN televised more San Antonio or OKC games – that’s all the extra revenue these teams are missing.

I kinda fuck with Shad’s point about OKC back when Russ, KD and harden were there – if they could’ve made it work that team would’ve been must see tv! To me, there’s no way they don’t for ESPNs hand to air more or their games.

But almost exclusively airing these games on nba tv is nasty work!

  18. Fuck that, he not allowed to wear Wemby jersey 🙅🏽‍♂️ fake ass mother fuckin fans
