Grimes is 100% on the trade block now with Christie coming in. And I think Grimes has some really good value good defender and shooter having a good season any other situation he wouldn’t be traded however you can package him and Powell with a pick see what you get. Mavs need a ball handler / creator I think they should target Coby White.

if i am the owner of mavericks team. i will do the same since luka always injured and pass the ball 5 seconds left. fans is secondary. this a team of dallas city not just to fans. if you live in dallas no choice to back up the team otherwise you are free anyway. this is a sports and business together. this team need a chip now. kyrie, grimes, dwinde,hardy, Cristy can shoot and handle the ball as a team. Luka has no plan to get a chip as he stay chubby to date
I got mad for what the Mavs got back, not much that he got traded.
Offense will struggle. AD won’t play ton of minutes with Gaff or lively. So his defensive contribution is limited, we already have solid rim protectors.

I know for a fact the majority of the MFFLs that are staying in supporting this organization were Luka haters to begin with. This is coming from someone that called Luka “Crybaby,” for his constant bitching.
Im an anti-Lebron Lakers fan. I think this trade had Lebron's fingerprint all over it. I hope Dallas wins a chip this year and next year. Then when Lebron retires, I can start rooting for the Lakers again. I love both AD and Luka.
Without an elite playmaker I am afraid Kidd's offense will get exposed hard. We all know "Luka was the gameplan". And with this new squad drawing up plays will be crucial.
I'm going to keep watching because I like Nick, Isaac, and Slightly. But I will be rooting for the Mavs to lose every single game they play until someone else buys the team. If that means the rest of my life then so be it. I had initially felt bad for most of the fanbase, but based on how fast you're turning on Luka (not Nick, Slightly, or Isaac) and insulting everyone who had a line that was crossed and left as "fake fans" I realized a lot of you are awful and deserve the decades of failure that are ahead. It's gonna be a very interesting dynamic for me going forward but this is the world we live in now. Wish things could've been different, but this was the absolute worst case scenario.

I don’t see where all the heat is coming from, this team is going to be a great team in the west and will compete for each championship. What about Deni Avdija:
1. AD as PF, then we want PJ as SF and Klay as SG, it will make sense that Deni will be good choice, and as you mentioned, he can handle ball and pass, he also familiar to play 45 combo with Ayton.
2. C-Lively and Gafford, PF-AD and Deni, SF-PJ and Naji, SG-Klay and Christie or Grimes, PG-Kyrie and Christie or Grimes, it will totally fit ideal defense team.
3. But question is hard to get Deni, probably will need Omax and Hardy or Naji even Gafford or picks for trade, will you agree?
4. If get Deni, our lineup average height will be strength, and with more ball handlers, is it a good idea?
If Gafford and Lively are both healthy… we could return to the finals. It's special to have them. Those are two really solid big men! If nico trades either before the trade deadline… last straw. He is a real-life villain.

Mavs offense will be better. 3 point shooting will be unlocked with such big under the basket, Klay , Kyrie others will have open shots. Offense will be 5 on 5 and not 4 on 5 having Luka talking to the referees. Mavs won this trade . Luka will be exposed in LA.
