  1. I guess that’s why they’re freezing RJ out, and Scottie’s taking all the shots now. To make him look like an All Star. Let’s note RJ was a +33 and played great defense. Isn’t that what you guys do for Scottie when RJ leads in scoring? So weird…

  2. While I agree the Raptors will likely draft well wherever they are in the lottery. There is a clear difference between #1 picks like Cooper, ANT, Wemby, and everyone else in their respective drafts. So even if it's just a small percentage increase between the 6th and 4th lottery position, I just want them to get the best chance they can possibly get. Otherwise we will be rebuilding for many more years šŸ˜…

  3. Raptors should definitely not forgo landing a top pick this year. They’re really not all that good yet even when fully healthy. It would be foolish to let got of a high draft pick this year. There’s always time for chemistry and playing together towards building. Get the right pieces first.

  4. When IQ is back, the starting lineup should look like this: Davion Mitchell, IQ, RJ Barrett, Barnes, JP, and bench: Jamal Shead, Gradey Dick, Agbaji, Kelly, Orlando Robinson. Assuming Bruce Brown and Boucher are traded.

  5. This tank notion is funny to me. The Raptors were never going to be one of the 3-4 worst teams in the league. A team lead by Scottie -RJ-IQ is far too talented for that to be the case. Without those injuries to start the year, we wouldn't even be here having this convo. I don' t think actively trying to tank with this talent sets a good precedent in the locker room. Let the young guys play and see what you have and see where you land.

  6. On draft here is how I look at it. We need to get a future starter with first round pick. There are mostly redundancies in this draft when you look at SG or wing shooter. PG unless you draft top 5 the first 2 projected on the board you can’t trade IQ next year? That could help both PG and contract flexibility.
SG I don’t see any significant difference beyond RJ?
SF unless Ace falls you need to be top 5 or try in the high teens with other talent.
PF if Asa N is on board you could draft him and see if SB flexibility you could split them based on matchup. That might mean SB has to guard wing if Asa can only guard PF or small ball C.
C it is Khaman or bust for long-term player to replace Jak. Maybe Danny Wolf in the 20s if you move back in the draft with Pacers first next year say you trade for one of Nets or Pacers pick this year.
Long and short of it if we can’t get a big wing or C out of this draft it is a longterm fail and we will continue to treadmill playin a few years.
